11/17/2014 0 Comments Happy Thanksgiving!Well it sure feels like winter is here for the duration and the wood stove has been burning none stop for a week now. Last Monday we finally planted the garlic planted and Mulched their bed for the winter. The hoop house has growing mini romaine lettuce and now is row covered to keep the chill off at night. We are hoping to have a nice little harvest just before Christmas. We finally had a chance to make some jam out of the raspberries we harvested and had frozen back in September. We made a Raspberry And Blueberry Jam it has a every ripe raspberry flavor with a little depth from the blueberry. This is a keeper we will be adding this to our recipe book and making it again next year. We have about 24 of these little gems and that is it until next year. We have also add a Roasted Butternut Curry Soup and this week a Chipotle Black Bean Soup to the Farm Stand. The soup is made from organic ingredients then frozen in 1QT. containers for sale.
