2/1/2014 Healthy Multigrain Muffins!We have been practicing some healthy muffin recipes here at The Grassy Knoll Farm. This one is filled with raisins, dried apricots and walnuts. Packed full of fiber, whole wheat and oats this muffin not only sticks to your ribs but is also very healthy! Using applesauce and a touch of butter instead of the normal vegetable oil, this muffin has a nice texture and has less fat to boot! Although the family certainly enjoys the "less than healthy for you muffins" better, this muffin will have a place in the breakfast treat cycle of baking! Comments are closed.
