![]() A snap shot of the garden vegetables as of 6:45pm on July 18, 2011: We are starting with this beautiful cantaloupe- well, we should say musk melon. This is a smaller variety, my niece said she wanted melon, so she better watch out! There are more than 10 of these little babies growing on 4 vines that are getting bigger by the day. This one doubled in size from yesterday! Amazing what sun and water will do! ![]() The corn stalks are coming along nicely. Jason counted yesterday, and we should get at least 20 ears of corn- sounds like just enough for the family! We only planted a few rows. It is really wonderful to be able to walk between the plants and see how the corn grows! ![]() Do we need to say more about the totally awesome tomatoes or the bountiful broccoli? Don't they look gorgeous?! (Anthony, those exclamation marks are for you!) ![]() Finally we end with the peppers. This one, though the picture is deceiving is rather large already, which is good, that way it will have lots of time in the sun to turn red- Jason and I really love red peppers! Great weekend at the farm stand- green beans were piling up after harvest, so a few lucky people are having the best green beans around! See you soon at the farm stand! Comments are closed.
